ANUKRITI .net, the first of its kind in India, nay, in the world, is designed to be an information site and a service site on translation
ANUKRITI.net pursues knowledge in Translation Studies primarily through its journal Translation Today, which is a sub-site.
ANUKRITI.net purports to raise a strong awareness about translation as precept and praxis, about translation across the subcontinent by attempting to engineer and engender a wholesome climate of ideas about translation as a conceptual phenomenon and as a concrete object.
ANUKRITI.net seeks to purvey information on all aspects of translation as a discipline and on translation as an activity, on the kinds of educational courses on translation, the professional agencies that are available in the country, translation- and translator-related events in the country and across the world.
ANUKRITI.net will provide an e-translator, and a translation-teaching software for Indian languages, provide an updated database of translation from and into Indian languages of all Indian languages.
ANUKRITI.net will forge translation tools for all Indian languages.
ANUKRITI.net will showcase Indian literature in translation to the western world.
ANUKRITI.net will function as a clearing house of info. on anything related to translation in the country.
